LPGA Girls Golf Days

LPGA Girls Golf Days are a national initiative aimed at bringing more girls to the game of golf.  Facilities across the country show their commitment to growing the game for girls by hosting one-day golf clinics and events for girls in their communities. Events are focused on helping girls discover the fun in golf and inspiring them through the game.

Two kinds of Girls Golf Days are available: Girls Golf "Beach" Days, featuring a beach theme, and "These Girls Rock" Days, featuring a rockstar theme.  Both events are supported by LPGA-USGA Girls Golf, which provides lesson plans, flyers, theme-related gifts and more.

Girls Golf "Beach" Days may be hosted by parents, schools or community groups.  You can bring a Girls Golf "Beach" Day to your community by registering to host a one-day "girl-friendly" junior golf clinic that shows girls how much FUN golf can be!

"These Girls Rock" Days are hosted by LPGA or PGA golf professionals who register to host a one-day "girl-friendly" junior golf clinic that shows girls how much FUN golf can be!

LPGA Founders Cup

The LPGA Founders Cup was established to honor the 13 original Founders of the LPGA Tour, as well as to help provide a future for the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Program, which has received more than $1.5 million from tournament proceeds in the last three years. This full-field, four-day event is televised live on The Golf Channel each year and features a $1.5 million purse, with $225,000 going to the champion.

Thanks to the support of the Founders Cup, LPGA-USGA Girls Golf has continued to grow and prosper, offering more girls the chance to learn and enjoy the game of golf.
