Frequently Asked Questions about Girls Golf Membership

  • How much does it cost to become a Girls Golf member?

    LPGA-USGA Girls Golf’s national membership dues are only $10 per year. Yep, that’s right - just 10 bucks!

    Each Girls Golf member receives a number of great benefits, including an official Girls Golf membership kit (stuffed with fun golf accessories and merchandise), FREE entry to all LPGA, Symtra Tour, and USGA Championships, and access to one of our 270 Girls Golf programs across the country. Not to mention...quality golf instruction, lasting friendships and memories, and enrichment through the “Five E’s” of Girls Golf!

    Local Girls Golf sites may require additional registration fees for golf course access, range balls, snacks, etc. To learn more about membership and program fees in your area, be sure to contact your local Girls Golf Site Director.

  • Can boys join LPGA-USGA Girls Golf?

    Yes! Although LPGA-USGA Girls Golf’s programs and events cater to the interests of girls, boys are always welcome and can even become Girls Golf members! That’s right, brothers, cousins, and friends can also join in on the fun at any Girls Golf site.

  • My junior is younger than the age of seven. Can she/he still become a Girls Golf member at our local site?

    Age requirements for LPGA-USGA Girls Golf participants can vary from program to program. Be sure to contact your local Girls Golf Site Director to see if juniors under the age of seven years old can be accommodated.

  • There are no Girls Golf programs near me. What should I do?

    The number of LPGA-USGA Girls Golf locations across the U.S. is growing every day. If there is not a Girls Golf site near you, consider reaching out to your local golf professional to see if they would be interested in starting a program at their facility. It’s easy to get started and there are a number of resources available to help with ensuring a successful program.

        • Contact your local LPGA or PGA Teaching Professional

LPGA and PGA members are certified golf professionals and experts in teaching junior golfers. Your local Pro may already have a junior golf program established at their facility and can help introduce your child to the game through group or private instruction.

Girls Golf programs are not required to be run by LPGA or PGA golf professionals. Many of our programs are coordinated by parents or community leaders who are simply passionate about getting girls hooked on golf!  Get together with friends, neighbors or other parents to start a program in your community!

  • Where and when do Girls Golf programs operate?

LPGA-USGA Girls Golf sites are located in more than 250 communities across the country, most of which host their events at local golf clubs and driving ranges, par-three courses, parks or indoor-recreation facilities.Many LPGA-USGA Girls Golf programs operate year-round, while others host events and clinics seasonally. Each Girls Golf program hosts events for their members at least five times per year, with many getting together for clinics, tournaments or outings a few times each month.

    The success of LPGA-USGA Girls Golf programs rely heavily on volunteers who are passionate about helping young people experience success through the game of golf.
