LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Essay Contest

The "E" in ME is...

At LPGA*USGA Girls Golf we believe girls can do anything they set their minds to achieve.  The Five E’s of Girls Golf help girls expand their horizons by inspiring them with the tools they need to thrive on and off the golf course.

Choose one of the “Five E’s” of Girls Golf and share (in 300 words or less) how you personify the “E” in your daily life and explain how your participation in Girls in the Game or Girls Golf makes you feel safe to be yourself.

  • Do you EMPOWER your family and friends by encouraging them to reach for their goals?
  • Or have you become a leader and a friend by ENGAGING with younger girls?

Tell us how the one of these “E’s” has played a role in your life for a chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

The Five E’s of Girls Golf:

  • Empower: We EMPOWER girls with confidence and inspire them to dream BIG
  • Enrich: We ENRICH girls lives by expanding their minds and horizons
  • Engage: We ENGAGE girls with positive female role models and mentors
  • Energize: We ENERGIZE girls with passion for the game of golf, and the game of life
  • Exercise: We EXERCISE girls’ minds and bodies helping them unlock their full potential

The authors of the top essays will be selected to be featured on LPGA.com and will walk inside the ropes with golf-legend Nancy Lopez during the UL Invitational on Sunday, July 30th at Conway Farms Golf Club.

Submit your essay and official entry form to hello@girlsgolf.org no later than June 26th for your chance to win!
